Leading the way in Arizona public charter school education
At American Leadership Academy, we believe that our teachers have the most important job in the world: to assist parents in raising the next generation of educated, impactful citizens and strong leaders.
Teachers and staff at American Leadership Academy enjoy a supportive environment and positive culture that allows them to grow and thrive, professionally and personally.
The students of today are the leaders of tomorrow. It’s our job to help them reach their potential. As an employee of American Leadership Academy, you can make an impact on Arizona students.
“To provide the best educational experience to as many students as possible in a moral and wholesome environment.”
Teachers and staff at ALA play a key role in helping us make this vision a reality.
Teachers & staff
Each teacher and staff member at American Leadership Academy is valued, respected, and empowered to make a real difference. Working together, we contribute to a positive ALA culture and guide students’ learning, while continuing to develop their own personal and professional capabilities.
Our teachers think outside the textbook, creating an immersive experience for their students that encourages both educational and personal success.
Our staff members work hard to ensure that students are safe, supported, and cared for—from the classroom to the cafeteria, and beyond.
We don’t teach our students to be smart—we R.A.I.S.E them to be leaders.
The R.A.I.S.E. leadership program takes education beyond the classroom and into the real world, actively developing leadership skills that will serve our students for the rest of their lives. When students and faculty work together to instill R.A.I.S.E. values, we create an exceptional learning environment for all.
Why you'll love working here
Teaching isn’t for the faint of heart, but our teachers and staff members love what they do. Why? The American Leadership Academy difference:
A moral and wholesome environment
Our campuses enforce high moral standards and wholesome behavior. You can see and feel the difference, both in and out of the classroom.
Uniforms contribute to the respectful environment we foster at ALA campuses, improving focus, reducing distraction, and promoting structure in the classroom.
Our teachers receive continual support from administrators. We also expect our parents and students to show respect to all staff members at all times.
Fair compensation matters to you—and it matters to us, too. We go to great lengths to offer exceptional benefits to each qualifying member of our staff.
Sense of community
Our R.A.I.S.E values and moral and wholesome environment contribute to a sense of community that is rare at other schools.
The unique ALA experience prepares our students for college and beyond. Our teachers see their students progress and grow in unique and meaningful ways.
