EpiPen 4 Schools is a free program available to all schools. It is offered by Mylan Specialty, a marketer and distributor of EpiPens, and was developed to allow schools access to emergency epinephrine in the event a person experiences a life-threatening allergic reaction. The program provides schools with 1 EpiPen carton and 1 EpiPen Jr carton. In order to be eligible to receive this free supply, a valid prescription from a health care provider must be submitted. San Tan Allergy & Asthma, a local clinic, was kind enough to partner with ALA in this endeavor. They are excited to support ALA in obtaining EpiPens for each campus. ALA will be conducting annual training to staff members on the signs and symptoms of life-threatening allergic reactions and how to properly use an EpiPen. ALA would like to thank the physicians at San Tan Allergy & Asthma for supporting our ALA family. We are excited for this new partnership!
