Elementary School Sports
American Leadership Academy’s intramural sports program, or co-ed, cross-school program, is available for all students in 1st - 6th grade! On-campus training and cross-school competitions are available for the following sports:

Being a tuition-free charter elementary school, we accept students from around the valley with no restrictions concerning academic or social capabilities. If you are driving East along the 202, turn right on Val Vista to head south. Continue for several miles until you reach Merlot St. (about 0.75 miles south of Chandler Heights Rd). Turn left and then right once you see our school "drop-off" signs. Follow our traffic plan to drop your child off at our campus or to locate and park near the front office.
If you are headed towards Phoenix following the 202, take the Val Vista exit ramp and turn left. Drive down Val Vista for several miles and turn left on Merlot St. (about 0.75 miles south of Chandler Heights Rd.) Once you see our schools' "drop-off" signs, turn right and follow the traffic plan to drop off your child or locate and park near our administrative office.

Meet Our Director:
Sheila Frame has been with American Leadership Academy since 2012 where she has served as an Assistant Director for 4 years and has been instrumental in her school’s academic growth and leadership development.
For the last 14 years, Mrs. Frame has actively participated in several roles at the elementary level. In addition to being an administrator, she has been a classroom teacher, instructional coach, reading specialists, and mentor teacher. Sheila attended California State University, Long Beach and received a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies, History and Social Science. She has a Master’s degree in Elementary Education and Reading from Northern Arizona University.
She is married with two beautiful children and her family enjoys traveling, hiking, and reading new books. Her mission statement is “Don’t wait for inspiration, be the inspiration.” She believes anything is possible if you work hard enough; at ALA we always strive for excellence and she is proud to be a part of it!
