Letter from the Director
Dear Warrior Families,
I am so thrilled and honored to be your Director at ALA-Ironwood Elementary. Our staff is so excited to continue the tradition of excellence here at ALA-IWE and partner with you to provide the best educational experience possible for our students in a moral and wholesome environment.
Here at ALA-IWE, we are committed to a higher set of standards that truly embody our core values: Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Service, and Excellence. We live and breathe these values day in and day out. Our foundational values paired with a love for our beautiful country and strong emphasis on academics make us the leading school in the East Valley! One day…maybe even the world!
Last year, I had the privilege to help open ALA-IWE as the Assistant Principal and I’ve spent the last 7 years in education as both a classroom teacher and administrator. I graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Masters’ in Educational Leadership and had previously earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education (K-8) from Montana State University. I moved to Arizona from a small town in Montana about 6 years ago with my two dogs and cat. I’m a country girl at heart who loves concerts, kayaking, yoga, dancing, boating Canyon Lake, and reading.
I’m beyond excited to partner with you and your family this year at ALA-IWE. Thank you for giving us the privilege to partner with you in laying the foundation that will allow your child one day to go out and Change the World. Let’s make this the best school year yet. Go Warriors!
