Our Academies are specialized programs that combine rigorous academics with hands-on, real-world training. They are designed to equip students with industry-relevant skills necessary to excel in various applied technologies fields.

By integrating classroom instruction with practical experiences, project-based learning, and industry partnerships, our academies ensure you gain both the theoretical knowledge and practical skills that employers value in today’s competitive job market.

We offer a variety of specialized tracks, including Aviation, Automotive, Cosmetology, Construction, Education, Hospitality, and more. Each academy provides in-depth training aligned with current industry standards.

Our academies are led by experienced professionals with extensive real-world expertise. For example:

• Hospitality Academy: Led by Program Coordinator Tricia Benning, an Executive Chef with over 30 years of experience. She holds dual Master’s Degrees in Business Administration and Organizational Leadership. Chef Benning has served as a Private Chef for the Masters Golf Tournament and as an Executive Chef for the U.S. Air Force, bringing a wealth of talent and technical mastery to the Hospitality Academy.

• Automotive Academy: Program Coordinator Erik Lambson is a seasoned automotive technician with a degree in Automotive Mechanics and Technology from WyoTech. With nearly a decade of experience managing his own auto repair shop, Mr. Lambson brings a wealth of knowledge in automotive mechanics, technology, and repair to our students.

• Construction Academy: Program Coordinator Paul Sinclair boasts over 30 years of experience in the construction trades. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Science with an emphasis in HVAC systems from Utah Valley University. Mr. Sinclair has successfully established multiple A/C companies across various states and brings extensive expertise in electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to our Construction Academy.

• Cosmetology Academy: Led by Program Coordinator Melissa Donlevy, a licensed instructor and cosmetologist with over 20 years of experience. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and Entrepreneurship and has more than a decade of experience in cosmetology and salon education, bringing a wealth of knowledge and technical mastery to the program.

• Education Academy: Program Coordinator Jessica Marbell is a well-versed educator with over a decade of experience. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood Development from Arizona State University. Ms. Marbell’s extensive background in preschool education and administration, junior high education, and high school education brings versatile expertise to the Education Academy.
