Health Services Academy

The Health Care Academy is a comprehensive career training program within our tuition-free trade school in AZ, offering students practical, hands-on experience in medical fields. With three focused tracks—Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA), Dental Assistant (DA), and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)—students gain clinical skills, prepare for professional certifications, and earn high school credit simultaneously.

Students are trained to sit for multiple industry-standard certifications:

• LNA Track:
  • Arizona State Board of Nursing LNA Certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR
• DA Track:
  • Dental Assisting National Board Exams (including Radiology Health and Safety - RHS)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR

• EMT Track:

  • National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) Certification

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR

These certifications allow students to work in medical settings immediately after high school graduation.

Yes! Students can earn college credit through our partnership with Maricopa Community Colleges. Credit is awarded for successfully completing certifications such as CPR and obtaining an EMS license through the EMT track—accelerating students toward degrees in nursing, emergency medicine, and more.

Students gain hands-on experience in lab settings that simulate real medical environments—such as hospital rooms and emergency scenes. They learn essential procedures including:

• Patient care and hygiene
• Taking vital signs
• Emergency response, CPR, and trauma stabilization

This immersive learning prepares students for both immediate employment and advanced health care education.
