Christina Kosednar, Director
Welcome to American Leadership Academy Gilbert Elementary! I am honored to serve as the Director of our campus and to partner with our incredible students, families, and staff. With over 22 years in education, I have had the privilege of serving as a classroom teacher in every K–6 grade level, Reading Specialist, Instructional Coach, Curriculum Specialist, Director of Planning & Instruction, Assistant Principal, and now Director.
I believe every child can learn, every educator can continue to grow, and every day brings a new opportunity to make a positive difference. My greatest joy is building meaningful relationships with students, supporting teachers, and creating a school where every child feels known, valued, and inspired to succeed.
Outside of school, I am the proud mom of an amazing 13-year-old daughter. I was born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona, and when I'm not at school, you'll likely find me working out, spending time with family and friends, enjoying a great movie, or searching for the best Mexican food. I have completed countless marathons and love embracing new challenges, both in life and in education.
I look forward to welcoming your family to ALA Gilbert Elementary and partnering with you to make this a wonderful school year!
