Letter From the Director

Letter From the Director

Dear ALA Gilbert Families,
It is truly an honor to be a part of American Leadership Academy and to serve as the Director of our wonderful Gilbert Elementary campus. To those families who have experience at our campus, I am so grateful you are here. To those who are new, I welcome you and look forward to you becoming a part of our ALA community.
As a tuition-free public charter school, we understand that it is your choice to have your child attend our school and we are committed to partnering with you in providing the best educational experience in a moral and wholesome environment. Our students, staff, and families live and demonstrate the RAISE values of respect, accountability, integrity, service, and excellence. As an educational institution, these values inform every aspect of our operations. We are grateful for your partnership in this endeavor.
Our vision for our students is that they will learn, lead, and change the world. Each student that steps foot on our campus is capable of doing so. We promote learning through curriculum and instruction focused on achieving academic excellence. Students have opportunities to lead their peers in discussion, service opportunities, and day-to-day school activities. Partnering with the family, we truly believe our students have the ability to change the world. I see them accomplishing these things each day. I see the RAISE values in our classrooms, playground, and hallways on a daily basis. I witness the world changing for the better. It is an incredible thing to be a part of.
Thank you again for being here. I am excited to partner with you in this educational experience as together we RAISE amazing world changers. It is going to be a remarkable year. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Sincerely,
Kira Middleton
Director
