Mr. Krites is a passionate musician and educator who learned to love music at a young age. He grew up surrounded by music at home and school. Throughout his years as a student, Mr. Krites developed a strong desire to share, with others, the joy that music brought him. He participated in bands, choirs, drum lines and drum corps starting in elementary school and continuing through college. His goal is to help his students learn and grow as musicians while developing skills and friendships that will last a lifetime.

Mr. Krites graduated from Southern Virginia University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music. During his Junior and Senior years he interned as a conductor in both the Orchestra and the women’s choir, Bella Voce. Mr. Krites is currently also the head band director at ALA Gilbert-North.
