School Leaders
Sarah Scatena, Director
Ms. Scatena is the Director of the ALA-Gilbert North K-6 campus. She has worked in both customer service and education bringing her broad background to lead ALA-GNE. She holds a bachelor's degree in K-12 Art Education from Arkansas Tech University and a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from ASU. She has taught grades K-6 in private, public, and charter schools ranging from North Carolina to New Mexico. Starting her 11th year in education, she continues to be a life-long learner.
An Arkansas native, Ms. Scatena grew up in a small town and still holds a special place in her heart for the Razorbacks. Her first love is her daughter Reagan. In addition to her background in education and business, she is a licensed Zumba instuctor and finds joy in singing on the worship team for Generation Church.
