School Leaders

Headshot of Jeff Oliverson

Jeff Oliverson, Director

Jeff Oliverson is honored to serve as the new Director at American Leadership Academy Gilbert North Elementary. Now in his ninth year with ALA, he is grateful for the opportunity to continue serving a school and community that are deeply meaningful to both him and his family.

Mr. Oliverson was part of the founding team that opened the Gilbert North campus, where he served as Dean of Students for the school’s first four years. He went on to serve as Athletic Director at ALA Queen Creek for three years before returning to Gilbert North in the same role for the past year and a half. Each of these experiences has shaped his commitment to leadership and student success.

Before joining ALA, Mr. Oliverson taught and coached baseball in Southern Utah after earning his bachelor’s degree and teaching license from Southern Utah University. His passion for education is rooted in the influence of the teachers and coaches who shaped his own life, and he is driven by a desire to offer that same encouragement and guidance to today’s students.

Mr. Oliverson has been married to his wife, Kristina, for 20 years, and together they have four children who all attend ALA Gilbert North. Outside of school, he enjoys spending time with his family, staying active at the gym, and following sports.

As Director, Mr. Oliverson is committed to fostering a school environment where every student feels seen, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential.
