Music
The General Music program at American Leadership Academy, Gilbert South Pre-K-6 is a fun student -led program that utilizes the Game Plan curriculum to teach the foundations of music theory and Aural skills in a fun and interactive setting. Students can look forward to playing a range of percussion instruments and performing in two annual school wide concerts. The choir programs participate in district wide performances, and have performed at professional Arizona sporting events.
We are so excited to add more performance venues this upcoming school year. Mrs. Rogers, Gilbert South Pre-K-6's leading music teacher, strives to make music an enjoyable experience for all whether it be as a performer or an active listener, she believes every student can uniquely contribute to the musical experience.
