What is a Charter School?

Publicly funded yet operating with more autonomy, charter schools differ from standard public schools by having greater flexibility. They are initiated through a charter, a contract that details the school's mission, educational programs, objectives, and assessment methods. Their goal is to promote innovation and provide diverse educational options tailored to their community's unique needs.
