Fine Arts at ALA Ironwood

Fine Arts at American Leadership Academy Ironwood give students opportunities to create, perform, collaborate, and develop skills that take time and practice to build.

Ironwood’s current school materials document a strong performing arts presence at the grades 7–12 campus, including choir, orchestra, jazz band, marching band, indoor percussion, theatre, and stagecraft. Younger students also have access to Fine Arts opportunities through the Pre-K–6 experience.

A Pathway to Success

Fine Arts and Graduation

Fine Arts can also be part of a student’s high school graduation plan.

ALA Ironwood’s current graduation requirements include one credit in CTE/Fine Arts for the Graduation, Honors, and STEM diploma pathways.

Creative work is rarely perfect the first time. That is part of the point. Students rehearse, revise, adjust, and try again. Eventually, something that was difficult becomes something they know how to do.

Find Your Creative Path at Ironwood

Some students know early that music or theatre is going to be part of their life. Others find out because they tried a class they almost did not take. Ironwood gives students several ways to explore performing arts, whether they want to sing, play an instrument, march, perform, work backstage, or become part of an ensemble.
