American Leadership Academy Mesa North provides tuition-free public charter education for students in kindergarten through 6th grade.
Our elementary program combines foundational academics, character development, leadership, and clear classroom expectations. Students build knowledge and confidence while learning how to ask thoughtful questions, solve problems, communicate clearly, take responsibility, and contribute to their school community.

Little Leaders
Preschool and Pre-K at Mesa North
Little Leaders Preschool and Pre-K provide early learning opportunities for children before kindergarten. These separate tuition-based programs introduce young learners to school routines, social development, early academics, and ALA’s core values.
Having early learning, elementary school, and grades 7–12 represented within the Mesa North community allows families to explore a long-term educational path from the early years through graduation.
Half or Full day
Kindergarten Options for Mesa Families
Kindergarten is an important first step in a child’s elementary education. Beginning with the 2026–27 school year, families may choose between full-day kindergarten and half-day kindergarten offered in morning or afternoon sessions.
Each option is designed to help children build academic readiness, positive classroom habits, confidence, and comfort within a school environment. Families can compare the schedules and learning experiences to determine which option best supports their child.
