At American Leadership Academy Queen Creek, the elementary years build the foundation for lifelong learning. Students develop the academic habits, character, confidence, and curiosity they need to thrive in junior high, high school, and beyond. Our K–6 academic model combines Core Knowledge and Eureka Math, setting a strong emphasis on literacy and mathematics to build essential knowledge, strengthen foundational skills, and develop confident, capable learners.

The work students do in elementary school builds the foundation for everything that follows. At ALA Queen Creek, our academic model relies on a straightforward idea: students understand new concepts more easily when they already have strong background knowledge.
To build this foundation, we use the Core Knowledge curriculum and Eureka Math, placing a heavy emphasis on literacy and problem-solving. Teachers introduce material at a manageable pace, ensuring students truly understand the concepts so they can confidently keep building upon them year after year.
