Building Teamwork, Character, and School Spirit

Athletics at ALA Queen Creek

Athletics at American Leadership Academy Queen Creek give students a place to compete, improve, lead, and represent the Patriot community.

Queen Creek maintains separate junior high school and high school athletic schedules, with high school teams competing through the Arizona Interscholastic Association. The current AIA directory lists ALA Queen Creek as the Patriots and places the school overall in 4A East Sky, although individual sport alignments can differ.

Sports Offered by Season

Sports provide life lessons that are difficult to avoid. Practice still starts after a tough school day, your teammates still count on you to show up, and an official won't change a call just because you disagree with it.

At Queen Creek, our athletics mission is to connect the drive for competition with teamwork, leadership, community responsibility, and ALA's core R.A.I.S.E. values. Explore our Junior High and High School sports offerings for the upcoming seasons below:

Building Patriot Traditions

Cheer on the Patriots

ALA Queen Creek athletics have produced a number of notable recent results. The Patriots have celebrated the girls' cross-country program winning its first team state championship in 2023, and the boys' volleyball team competing successfully at the state level, including a 2026 season where they entered April ranked No. 1 in 4A.

Those results are worth celebrating. They also represent everything that came before them: the practices nobody attended, the corrections nobody applauded, the conditioning, the missed shots, the repeated drills, and the choice to make another attempt the next day.

Find Your Team at Queen Creek

Some students arrive at Queen Creek already committed to a sport, while others discover a new passion simply by stepping onto the field for the first time. Either way, our athletics program gives students another place to become part of the Patriot community, compete at a high level, and develop character and leadership skills that cannot be learned from a textbook alone.

Families should review contact the campus for the latest team availability, tryout dates, schedules, eligibility requirements, and registration information for each school year.
