Teacher of the Week: Mrs. Heather Gardner!

We’re thrilled to spotlight Mrs. Gardner, a passionate advocate for lifelong learning and community service. After teaching at Benson High and exploring government contract work, she’s back in the classroom and loving every moment of guiding and mentoring our students.
Outside of teaching, Mrs. Gardner enjoys birdwatching, reading, cooking, and cherishing time with her family. A proud Cochise County resident for 25 years, she’s also an active volunteer, supporting aspiring leaders through the US Naval Academy and sharing her love of nature as a docent at Ramsey Canyon Preserve.

We’re so grateful to have her as part of the ALA family!
