American Leadership Academy Sierra Vista provides tuition-free public charter education for students in kindergarten through 6th grade in Sierra Vista, Arizona.

Elementary students need more than isolated skills. They need knowledge they can connect new ideas to, reading and writing they can use across subjects, mathematical reasoning, curiosity, and practice taking responsibility for their own work.
To build this long-term foundation, Sierra Vista connects strong classroom academics with hands-on experiences that give students something real to connect with classroom ideas. Students participate in STEAM projects, coding, engineering activities, and academic competitions designed to encourage curiosity, ensuring that learning frequently goes far beyond the textbook.

For an elementary student, character is not abstract—it is built through everyday choices. Our K–6 school community places a special emphasis on kindness as the foundation of how students treat one another. By encouraging young Guardians to think about how their actions affect others, we help them turn small, everyday decisions into lifelong leadership habits.
Gifted & Talented
Advanced Learning Opportunities
Every student deserves an education that meets them where they are and pushes them to grow. Qualifying Sierra Vista students in grades 2–6 can participate in our Gifted & Talented program, attending a separate enrichment class twice each week while remaining an active part of their regular classroom experience.
