  • View Internship Listings or
  • Visit businesses of interest and inquire about internship or apprenticeships opportunities

Prepare Your Resume

  • Use the Major Clarity resume builder for an easy, guided experience, or craft your own using your favorite tools. For extra guidance and support, stop by Student Services today!
Step 3

Practice Interview Techniques

  • Conduct mock interviews with friends, family, or teachers to build confidence
  • Review common industry questions and practice your answers
  • Visit Student Services for expert tips and interview prep support

Personal Interest Internships

Have a passion that falls outside of our standard CTE programs? Our General Internship track allows you to pilot-test a career based on your unique interests. We partner with a wide variety of local businesses to provide professional growth opportunities for any student looking to gain an edge before graduation. 

Students: Propose Your Own Placement 

Don’t see your dream company on our list? You can help us build new connections. 

Follow the steps below to register a new industry partner and kickstart your custom internship. 

Present the potential partner with the application/interest form

  • Download the New Industry Partner Interest form, then email or deliver it to the industry partner you would like work with/for.

  • Request the industry partner to complete and return the application/interest form to collegeandcareer@charter.one

  • Allow 7–10 business days for the College and Career office to process once we receive your potential industry partner's completed form.

  • You and the proposed partner are both notified once the new partner is approved.

CTE Internship / Apprenticeships

APPLIED CTE Internships

Take what you’ve learned in the classroom and put it into practice. The CTE Internship program extends your CTE pathway into the local workforce, connecting you with industry partners for authentic work-based learning. Gain valuable on-the-job experience, refine your technical skills, and build a professional network while finishing your high school journey. Check the course catalog for internship classes offered on your campus and work with your Student Services Academic Advisor.

Find an apply to your program's partner

  • Visit the Industry Partners page to find the partner matched to your CTE program.

  • Check that partner's prerequisites and application deadline before you apply.

  • Confirm you've completed the required course sequence in you pathway.
