Graduation Requirements

American Leadership Academy offers three different diploma tracks for students to choose from. Please see below for the graduation requirements of each diploma track.

Ceremony Expectations

  1. ALA Dress Code "Dress Up Attire" will be observed for this event. While not required it is highly encouraged. If a student does not have proper attire to “dress-up,” no undue burden is placed on them to purchase dress-up compliant attire. Standard ALA dress-code is acceptable. Likewise, dress-up days are a privilege, not a right. If student(s) are not appropriately dressed, they will be denied admittance to the event.
    • Dress-up attire for girls consists of a conservative and modest blouse/skirt/pants or dress. All skirts and dresses must be knee length or longer and may not be tight or revealing in any way. Midriffs must be covered, and blouses may not be low-cut.
    • Dress-up attire for boys consists of long-sleeve, button-up, collared dress-shirt with a conservative tie, and dress slacks with a belt.
  2. Graduates will be expected to uphold the R.A.I.S.E. Leadership Values while in attendance.
  3. Be respectful to staff, speakers, and those attending the graduation as guests. Do not make outbursts or be disruptive while others are speaking.
  4. Remember, graduation is a privilege, not a right. Failure to follow all of the normal rules for your school can result in you not walking with your class.
