Fine Arts at ALA Vistancia
Fine Arts at American Leadership Academy Vistancia give students room to create, perform, practice, and discover interests that may not show up in a traditional academic class.
At the elementary level, the current Vistancia program includes art and music alongside academics and STEM exploration. In grades 6–12, marching band, theatre and other opportunities help students develop their talents and work with others.

The way students experience the arts should change as they grow. Vistancia gives students the opportunity to begin exploring the arts in elementary school and continue developing those passions through junior high and high school.
Art and Music in Elementary School (Pre-K–5)
For elementary students, the arts offer a first chance to discover there is more than one way to solve a problem or communicate an idea. Sitting alongside core academics and STEM exploration, our art and music programs give young learners a place to be curious. Creative work teaches foundational habits they use everywhere in school: listening, paying attention to detail, sharing space, and finishing what they start.
Fine Arts in Junior High and High School (Grades 6–12)
As students move into the upper school, the arts become more focused. Students begin choosing activities based on what they enjoy and where they want to improve. Whether participating in marching band, theatre, or visual arts, the work becomes more demanding. Rehearsals have deadlines, performances require teamwork, and students learn the vital responsibility of being part of an ensemble where others are counting on them.

Not every student walks into school already knowing they are a musician, actor, or artist—and they do not need to be. Sometimes an elective becomes the first clue to a lifelong passion.
As a growing school community, Vistancia gives students the space to try creative work, discover what holds their attention, and decide how far they want to take it.
