Meet our Assistant Director

Mrs. Morgan Lewis is the Assistant Director at the Ironwood Elementary Campus for American Leadership Academy. Prior to joining the IWE staff she was at ALA Anthem South were she supported teachers as an Instructional Coach and worked as the Title I Specialist. Mrs. Lewis started her journey in the field of education nine years ago when she graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. After graduating she entered the public education school system where she taught second and third grade until joining ALA in 2013. After becoming a part of the ALA family and seeing the amazing work being done with and for children she decided it was time to achieve a personal goal of becoming a reading specialist. This decision led her to Grand Canyon University where she obtained a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an endorsement in reading. Since obtaining a master’s degree Mrs. Lewis has had the privilege of participating in kick starting the district’s participation in the Title I program. This year Mrs. Lewis joins another fantastic ALA school as the Assistant Director of the IWE campus
