Will has been part of the ALA family as the Assistant Director of Academics at ALA Queen Creek High School. He was born and raised in Florida and is married to Lisa Dunman, who also works as one of the Special Education Site Coordinators for ALA. They have three children, Trae and his wife Alyssa, a son Tyler and daughter named Sadie. He also has two granddaughters Ellie and Payton.
Will Dunman has a Bachelor's degree from Northern Arizona University in Elementary Education and Special Education and also holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University.
Will and his family spent 18 years living in Payson, Arizona where he started his career as a special education teacher, coach and administrator.
Shanna is an Arizona native, growing up in Mesa. Her family moved to Gilbert six years ago and loves it. Shanna has three teenagers - Breken, Kaidi, and Miya. Breken will be headed to Peru in October for two years. Kaidi and Miya are in high school. As a family, they enjoy time laughing together, road trips, and creating memories. Shanna loves reading, podcasts, pursuing goals, movies, time with friends and family, and experiencing a full life.
Shanna earned her bachelor’s degree at Arizona State University in Elementary Education and a master’s degree at Grand Canyon University in Educational Administration. She has 20+ years of experience working with children ages 3-14 in a variety of settings - music groups, dance, tumbling, and education. She has taught Kindergarten and First grade, served as a Reading Specialist, Instructional Coach, and an administrator. Shanna is passionate about literacy and supporting children and educators in the pursuit of learning and growth.
