What is a Charter School?
Charter schools are educational institutions funded by the public but function with increased flexibility and independence from traditional public schools. Created through a charter—a performance agreement outlining the school's mission, programs, goals, and evaluation techniques—they aim to foster innovation and offer a variety of educational opportunities that address the unique needs of their communities.
