Why She Is Seeking Board Service:

Dr. DuBois is seeking to continue serving ALA because of her commitment to high-quality, values-based education and strong family partnerships. She has seen the long-term impact that intentional academic and character development can have on students and views board service as an opportunity to support students, families, and the broader community in a meaningful way.

Professional Background:

Dr. Hasty leads engineering teams in the medical device industry, overseeing product development, regulatory compliance, budgeting, and strategic execution. She also has experience supporting acquisitions and process improvement initiatives.

Why She Is Seeking Board Service:

Dr. Hasty is seeking to serve in order to contribute to expanding high-quality educational opportunities and supporting the continued growth of the ALA model. She is motivated by the school’s ability to develop students into confident, capable leaders and sees board service as a way to make a meaningful impact on students’ futures.

Director of Administrative Services, SC Workers’ Compensation Commission

Juris Master’s (Law), Liberty University; additional business coursework (Harvard, Wharton)

Professional Background:

A 22-year U.S. Army veteran, Jerod has held leadership roles spanning operations, process improvement, and administrative oversight. His current role includes responsibility for HR, finance, procurement, and budgeting.

Why he Is Seeking Board Service:

Jerod is motivated by a personal desire to help students grow and succeed without facing the same struggles he experienced. He is passionate about supporting students who want to learn and believes in helping build environments where they can thrive academically and personally.

Licensed Professional Counselor; Registered Dance Movement Therapist

Professional Background:

Priyanka brings a mental health and student support perspective, with experience working with children and families in diverse and complex environments. She has also worked as a school counselor and collaborates across multidisciplinary teams.

Priyanka is seeking to serve in order to contribute to the long-term success and integrity of the school community her child is part of. She brings a perspective that values both academic excellence and student well-being and is committed to supporting thoughtful, accountable decisions aligned to ALA’s mission and values.
