PSAT, SAT, and ACT Information

Upcoming Testing Dates
Students should complete any SAT/ACT tests by October or November of their senior year. This allows for enough time for their scores to be received and applicable to be considered for their college admissions. Check the admission requirements of your specific college to see what tests they require.

The PSAT test is given to all sophomores each October, as well as the top 20% of Juniors based on their GPA. Those juniors are taking it for the National Merit Scholarship opportunities.
SAT The SAT tests critical reading, math, and writing with an optional essay. The SAT Subject Tests your knowledge in particular academic subjects.

ACT The ACT is composed of 4 sections: reading, writing, math, and science. There is also an (optional) essay component. We recommend taking the ACT with an essay.
