ALA Brings Excellence in K-12 Education to the West Valley
American Leadership Academy is a K-12 tuition-free public charter school opening in Waddell, Arizona in August 2022! This NEW ALA campus in the West Valley will be conveniently located on Olive Ave and Citrus Road just West of the 303. ALA combines academic excellence and character development to create an exceptional educational experience where students can thrive as leaders in the classroom and in their community.

ALA West Foothills has been working hard for your family to open your school for the 2021-2022 school year. However, despite our best efforts, we have been unable to begin construction due to pandemic-related delays in receiving the necessary building permits from the county. As a result, we have made the difficult decision to delay the opening of ALAWF until August 2022. It's important to share that the ALAWF administration and faculty will remain on staff and continue to prepare for the school's opening for the 2022-2023 school year.
We believe this is the right decision to best serve your family, as it provides time to adapt for the upcoming school year. Further, it allows for predictability as we await county and local officials to navigate the backlogs and construction permitting delays. Most importantly, it ensures students will have the full high school experience they deserve from day one of the 2022-2023 school year.

We will be contacting each enrolled family to have a one-on-one conversation about our fall 2022 opening. We have heard your requests for more choice in education. ALA is ready to meet the demand and serve the families of Surprise by providing the best educational experience to as many students as possible in a moral and wholesome environment. At American Leadership Academy, you are not just a number, you are a member of our family! ALA West Foothills will open in August 2022 serving grades K-12. An elementary building and a jr. high/high school building will be located on the same campus for easy pickup and drop off for the whole family.
